When you read, do you hear each character in their own unique voice?

I love reading anything spoken by Raven. Russian-accented English is
probably my Achilles heel. It's Earthy, but not guttural like German-accented English

Also, I enjoy reading Doyle's Irish accent, although I have a tendency to end up
reading it as Scottish.
For some reason, that is easier for me to hear in my head than Irish...
I'm weird; I know. Don't judge me LOL

I have in the past looked up "South Carolina" accent on YouTube, to help me hear how the people in the Academy series would speak, but they all end up speaking with a Canadian accent, except for Raven, whose speech is obviously written with a Russian accent.

I've always read it in an English accent because I am English and then I realised thathey are American and I just can't bring myself to change it now.
Mr Blackbourne is perfection. Dr Green is sweet and romantic. Every one of the boys is perfect. It is killing me! ❤
